Upcoming Project TEACH training sessions

Funded by the NYS Office of Mental Health, Project TEACH aims to strengthen and support the ability of New York's pediatric primary care providers to deliver care to children and families who experience mild-to-moderate mental health concerns. Trainings are available both online and in-person. A two-day session will be held in Rochester on March 31-April 1. Upcoming Webinar: "The Public Health Workforce: 2014, 2017, and 2020"

On April 2, 2019 12-1pm, join the Region 2 Public Health Training Center for their April Log-in2Learn live webinar. Participants will learn about 2014 and 2017 data from the Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey as well as plans for the 2020 data collection from Katie Sellers, DrPH, CPH, Vice President for Impact at the de Beaumont Foundation.

After the webinar, participants will be able to:
o List the biggest issues facing the public health workforce today
o Describe how the public health workforce has changed between 2014 and 2017
o Explain the plans in place for addressing the needs of the public health workforce and continuing to monitor the workforce’s interests and needs

The Community Health Worker Network of NYC is coming to Rochester in April to deliver their popular 2-day Community Health Worker Communication Training.
