Mental health and disability master's degree scholarship applications open

To be eligible, applicants must work in one of these fields, be employed by a nonprofit organization in the eight-county region surrounding Rochester, and be working toward a master's degree. Preference may be given to those currently providing front-line or direct care.

Applications are open until March 1.

HRSA funding available for Teaching Health Centers

Teaching Health Centers are community-based, ambulatory patient care centers that operate primary care residency programs, training residents to serve in rural and underserved communities. Funding is available from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to expand the number of full time equivalent resident positions at existing Teaching Health Centers, or to create new training programs.

Applications are due March 31. Click here for the funding announcement.

Workplace wellness resources available from CDC

Resources are available to employers through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Workplace Health Initiative, including a Worksite Health ScoreCard. This tool can be used by employers to assess whether they have implemented evidence-based health promotion interventions or strategies in their worksites to improve the health and well-being of their employees.
