Healthy Communities Project Coordinator
Healthy Communities Coordinator Mike Bulger is a Rochester native who has returned home to pursue his passion around food systems. Bulger holds an master's degree in Food Studies from New York University and for the past several years has coordinated community food access programs and patient dietary interventions at New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital. He was a Research Associate/TA for the esteemed Dr. Marion Nestle at NYU and has guest lectured at Yale University. As Healthy Communities Coordinator, Bulger oversees Healthi Kids' community food access interventions, worksite/staff wellness, and complete streets work.
