Candice Williams designs and implements policy, systems and environmental change strategies that promote children’s health in the Finger Lakes region. She also oversees the execution of deliverables in select elementary schools and works with the Healthi Kids team to identify opportunities for district-level improvement.

Williams previously served as a SNAP-Ed community nutrition educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County. In this role, she cultivated partnerships and facilitated nutrition classes and pop-up events. Prior to that, she was the health promotions coordinator at CaroMont Health in Gastonia N.C., designing and implementing employee well-being programs and events for the health system’s 3,000 employees.

In 2013, she served as a 5-2-1-0 Be a Healthy Hero Street Team Member, engaging Rochester parents and kids with positive tips and principles for healthy living.

Williams earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Temple University. A graduate of RCSD’s School of the Arts, she earned an Advanced Regents Diploma and was recognized with the New York State Comptroller Award. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, game nights and spending time with her two boys.
