Opioid Mortality Rate: Latino vs White

The chart trends the opioid overdose mortality rate for Latino and White non-Latino residents. Opioid overdose deaths have been rising in the Finger Lakes region, up 300% from 2011 to 2020. Opioid overdose deaths disproportionately impact Latino residents, whose mortality rate in 2020 was nearly double that of White non-Latino residents.
