Holly Sienkiewicz, DrPH

Director of Research

Holly Sienkiewicz is responsible for overseeing research across the organization and for setting the strategy for research priorities. She also delivers research-related work plan initiatives, prioritizes new research initiatives and manages the development of research protocols.

Prior to joining Common Ground Health, Sienkiewicz served in multiple roles at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As director of the Center for New North Carolinians (CNNC), she provided strategic leadership and oversaw all program and research initiatives. As director of research, she executed all of CNNC’s research and evaluation initiatives and coordinated evaluation and monitoring plans. As a research scientist at the Center for Social, Community and Health Research and Evaluation, Sienkiewicz conducted mixed-methods research and evaluation studies in the areas of community health.

An expert in quantitative design and qualitative research methodologies, she was an integral member of a six-person team responsible for Guilford County, N.C.’s Community Health Assessment and she completed Community Health Needs Assessments for three hospital systems.

Holly Sienkiewicz earned her doctorate degree in public health education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, her master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy from Seton Hall University, and her bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies and Russian Studies from Mercyhurst College. Her hobbies include exploring national and state parks, reading and traveling to unconventional locations.
