Nadine Hylton, PhD
Senior Research Associate
Nadine Hylton is a research associate, responsible for designing and executing analytic approaches and reports for stakeholders. Part of the Common Ground team since 2018, Hylton brings a decade of experience in collecting, analyzing and sharing quantitative and qualitative data with diverse audiences.
Most recently, Hylton served as director of assessment and planning in student development at the University of Dayton. In this role, she helped create a data warehouse integrating student demographic and academic data with survey, assessment and event-participation data. She also developed key performance indicators for divisional and departmental strategic plans.
Her previous positions included serving as part of Nazareth College’s Institutional Research team that serves as the data stewards for the college. As a statistical and data consultant for Monroe #1 BOCES, Hylton used quantitative and qualitative data and analyses to respond to questions about education equity and education access.
Nadine Hylton has a PhD in education from the Margaret Warner School of Education and Human Development, University of Rochester. Her master’s and bachelor’s degrees, both in forensic psychology, are from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. Her hobbies include cooking and gardening.
