Senior Health Planning Research Analyst
Catie Kunecki manages a variety of Common Ground’s convenings including Regional Leadership, a diverse group of stakeholders from public health, mental hygiene, community-based organizations and federally qualified health centers. Through this community table, representatives from Finger Lakes counties meet to discuss residents’ mental and physical health challenges to help bridge gaps and find solutions.
Kunecki also engages and maintains relationships with key community stakeholders and develops community health needs assessments for stakeholders such as public health, hospitals, federally qualified health centers and community-based organizations. As staff director of the Community Technology Assessment Advisory Board (CTAAB), Kunecki is responsible for engaging the diverse set of stakeholders to make informed recommendations about new medical equipment and services which are communicated to the New York State Department of Health and local insurers.
Before joining the organization in 2015, Kunecki served as a disease specialist with the Madison County Health Department. In this role, she surveilled communicable diseases, reported diseases to the New York State Department of Health and conducted epidemiologic interviews.
Catie Kunecki earned her master’s degree in public health from SUNY Upstate Medical University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology and health science from SUNY Brockport.
