Amie Kulak, MHSA

Director of Analytics

Amie Kulak is responsible for direct oversight of Common Ground Health’s analytics team. She brought a unique combination of analytic expertise and community focus to the organization in 2018, with more than two decades of health and health-care analytics experience.

Most recently, Kulak served as the director of quality and education at Pandion Optimization Alliance (formerly Rochester Regional Healthcare Association), a 17-member, regional hospital association across 10 counties in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region. In this role, she increased member engagement 300 percent within the first year. She also participated in several regional collaborative health care groups, including the Southern Tier Nurse Executive Committee, Monroe County Drug Task Force, Monroe County Medical Society Quality Collaborative and the Physician & Hospital Sub-Committee of the Monroe County Drug Task Force.

Earlier, as director at Truven Healthcare Analytics, Kulak led a team of 35 staff members and served 40 large employers in the northeast, providing guidance on health-care expenditures. She also has experience negotiating pharmaceutical rebate contracts with large regional and national PBMs and HMOs, as a BristolMyers Squibb manager for more than 10 years.

A Rochester native, Amie Kulak earned a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Miami University (Ohio). In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking and spending time with her husband and three children.
